Finding Sink Water Leaks: How to Check for Under Sink Leaks

One of the most common things we’ll find during an inspection is a leak at the drain underneath the sink. So, to check your sink for leaks, plug the drain stopper, turn on the water until it’s all the way up to the top of your basin, then you can go ahead and remove the drain stopper. Then go and check underneath your sink and see if you see anywhere where water is dripping and run your hand along each of the different fittings to check for any moisture.
